IMMEDIATE project holds General Assembly to align for its final year

The IMMEDIATE consortium held its General Assembly meeting last week, bringing together representatives from all work packages to align on the remaining tasks and objectives for the year ahead. The meeting provided an important opportunity for partners to ensure a shared vision and coordinated approach as the project enters its final phase.

With participants discussing progress across work packages, the General Assembly focused on strengthening collaboration and confirming key goals to support the successful completion of project activities. Discussions focused on the ongoing integration of data from IMMEDIATE’s observational cohorts and proof-of-concept study, as well as on advancing multi-omics analyses and AI-supported approaches to better understand chronic inflammation and health-to-disease transitions. Partners also exchanged on upcoming milestones and the translation of project insights into tools and knowledge with societal impact.

As IMMEDIATE enters its final phase, the General Assembly emphasized the importance of close collaboration across disciplines to ensure robust analyses, meaningful integration of results and effective communication of outcomes. This collective alignment marks a key step toward the successful completion of the project and the delivery of high-quality results that reflect IMMEDIATE’s ambition to support earlier prediction and prevention of chronic disease.
