Stay Healthy Cluster Symposium - Advancing Personalised Prevention to Support our Health

The IMMEDIATE project, together with its sister Horizon Europe research initiatives forming the Stay Healthy Cluster, is delighted to announce the upcoming Stay Healthy Cluster Symposium, taking place on 1–2 December 2025 in Berlin, Germany.
The event brings together scientists, clinicians, policymakers, and citizens to explore how chronic inflammation contributes to the development of non-communicable diseases and how personalised prevention strategies can support healthier lives. The Symposium is a joint effort of several projects funded under the European Commission’s Horizon Europe programme, within the call “Personalised Blueprint of Chronic Inflammation in Health-to-Disease Transition.”
Exploring the Science of Staying Healthy
The first day of the Symposium (1 December) will focus on the latest scientific advances from across the Stay Healthy Cluster. Leading researchers will present insights on topics such as:
- Biomarkers and early predictors of the health-to-disease transition
- The role of the microbiome, nutrition, and lifestyle in prevention
- Challenges in translating precision science into precision medicine
Keynote speakers include Dr Yolanda Sanz and Dr Sergio Baranzini, whose contributions will highlight the growing European research effort to understand and prevent chronic inflammation-driven diseases.
Engaging Citizens in Preventive Health
The second day (2 December) will feature interactive workshops designed to foster dialogue between scientists, clinicians, patients, and the broader public.
We prepared two workshops:
- The IMMEDIATE Knowledge Platform session, organised by ZADIG
- The miGut - Health co-design workshop, led by EngageMinds HUB and IFCCA, focused on engaging IBD patients
These workshops will provide participants with hands-on opportunities to discuss practical strategies for personalised and preventive healthcare.
